Description
Ascension Parish Government is soliciting bids for the complete renovation of an existing 1970s-era facility into a fire district office and training facility. The work includes hazardous-material abatement, demolition, interior reconfiguration and finishes, doors, storefronts, exterior cladding, roofing, site and accessibility improvements, structural modifications, and minor additions. The project also includes civil, architectural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, special systems, and life-safety work, including upgrades to building systems and components. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is required for prospective prime bidders. Bidders must submit a five-percent bid security; electronic bidders must submit a copy electronically and deliver the original bid bond within 48 hours after bid opening.
