Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking a quotation for 1,143 commercial gaskets, NSN 5330-01-395-0691, under purchase request 7018273598. The item is identified as a critical application item, must be free of asbestos, and must not contain prohibited ozone-depleting chemicals or intentionally added mercury. Approved part references include General Electric Company part number 2000T12P01 and Kenneth Industrial Products, Inc. part number 37C301638P101. The gaskets must be packaged and preserved in accordance with the specified military packaging requirements, including a medium-duty waterproof, greaseproof, opaque bag, MIL-STD-2073-1E preparation, and MIL-STD-129 marking. Delivery is required within 65 days after acknowledgment of delivery, FOB origin, with destination inspection and acceptance. Quotes must be submitted through the DLA Internet Bid Board System.
