Description
The United Nations Development Programme is soliciting contractors for complementary sports-infrastructure construction and related services at Estadio Nacional Doroteo Guamuch Flores. Bidders may offer one, several, or all three independently evaluated lots, and one or more contractors may be awarded. Lot 1 covers rehabilitation and completion of an athletic track and football field, including synthetic track surfacing, hybrid grass, drainage, irrigation, cistern and pumping systems, athletic-event areas, testing, and World Athletics and FIFA-related certification activities. Lot 2 covers removal, classification, storage or disposal of approximately 25,250 existing seats; repairs and preparation of concrete stands; and supply and installation of approximately 27,000 new stadium seats. Lot 3 covers modernization of the stadium lighting system, including new and rehabilitated poles, LED luminaires, medium- and low-voltage electrical infrastructure, substations, transformers, emergency power and lighting, grounding, controls, communications, testing, and commissioning. Each lot requires complete pricing for all listed line items, relevant experience and financial-capacity documentation, a preliminary work plan, technical and price submissions, and bid security. The construction execution period is 10 months, followed by a 12-month defects-responsibility period.
