Description
The Escambia County School District is soliciting proposals for maintenance, pole-transfer, and repair services for approximately 62 miles of outside-plant fiber, including aerial and buried routes. The work includes biannual route inspections and surveys, documentation of issues, physical fiber transfers and make-ready work coordinated through NJUNS, and routine and emergency repairs on a time-and-materials basis. Locate services and inside-plant work are excluded. The contractor must provide 24/7 on-call coverage and respond to emergency repairs within four hours. Proposals must include a technical approach, company background and experience, qualifications and references, and pricing for labor, inspections, pole transfers, mobilization, emergency response, and materials. The contract is for an initial five-year term, with potential one-year extensions.
