Description
The project involves repairing and replastering the walls and bottoms of the competition and recreation pools; repairing cracks along the north ends; repairing perimeter slot drains; removing and replacing pool deck coatings, pool deck tiles, and pool bottom tiles as required; installing new coping tiles; demolishing the existing one-meter and three-meter diving-board concrete bases; and installing diving platforms and a grade beam. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and related services. The work is scheduled to begin no earlier than January 4, 2027, with substantial completion required by May 21, 2027, and contract closeout by June 21, 2027. The project requires a Class A or B license including C-53 Swimming Pool Contractor licensing, a 10% bid bond, 100% payment and performance bonds, mandatory attendance at one of the scheduled bid walks, compliance with prevailing-wage, DIR, Community Benefits Agreement, OCIP, safety, security-screening, and site-access requirements, and electronic submission of the bid through the District's PlanetBids portal.
