Description
Massanutten Regional Library System is soliciting proposals for bundled Internet access and transport services for seven library locations. The required service is at least 500 Mbps for the central library in Harrisonburg and at least 250 Mbps for each of six branch libraries, with service options up to 1 Gbps. Symmetrical bandwidth is not required. Proposals must include pricing for at least one static IP address at each branch, router/modem lease options, monthly recurring charges, non-recurring charges, and any special construction charges. Services must terminate at each building's designated MDF, and providers must assume responsibility for delivery, construction, permitting, pathways, and rights-of-way. The requested service is needed effective July 1, 2027; contracted providers are asked to provide 36-month or 60-month pricing and optional two additional 12-month extensions. Proposals must also address bandwidth increases, site additions, early termination if a location closes, and compliance with applicable E-Rate and covered-equipment requirements.
