Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking two packages of sterilization biohazard disposal bags under NSN 6530-01-529-4540. The bags must be orange, 19 by 24 inches, made of polypropylene, have a 2-millimeter single-wall thickness, a twist-tie closure, a universal biohazard symbol, and withstand a maximum autoclave temperature of 135 degrees Celsius. They must be puncture-resistant and meet the 165-gram dart-drop standard under ASTM D1709-98. The unit of issue is a package of 200 bags. Commercial packaging, suitable sealed unit containers, required medical marking, and specified preservation, packing, and marking requirements apply. Delivery is required within 84 days after acknowledgment of delivery, FOB destination, to the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Center-Europe distribution and transportation division in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Quotes must be submitted through the DLA Internet Bid Board System by the stated return date.
