Description
Glynn County is seeking a qualified architectural and/or planning firm to conduct a comprehensive Police Department space needs assessment and, based on the findings, provide architectural and engineering design services for the complete renovation of the facility's second floor. Phase I includes existing-conditions and facility assessments, departmental needs analysis, future space projections, a written assessment report, conceptual space-planning options, and presentation of findings. Phase II includes programming, conceptual design, architectural and engineering design, construction documents, technical specifications, cost estimates, and coordination of security, access control, fire protection, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, data, telecommunications, and audiovisual systems. The proposal must include separate technical and fee proposals. The technical proposal must address firm qualifications and history, project understanding and methodology, at least three similar-project references, the proposed project manager and consultant team, organizational and technical capabilities, resumes, schedule and availability, subcontractors, and pricing-related information in the separate fee proposal. The solicitation also requires responses to the portal questionnaire and several certifications and affidavits, including drug-free workplace, proposer oath, representation, Georgia security and immigration compliance, legal and character qualifications, equal employment opportunity, civil-rights assurance, and three references. No proposal or contract security is required.
