Description
New Horizons Regional Education Center is requesting proposals for fully managed dedicated Internet access with transport service at its Butler Farm Campus in Hampton and Woodside Campus in Newport News, Virginia. The required service must provide dedicated, guaranteed bandwidth with a minimum of 5 Gbps download and upload, with proposals requested for bandwidth options up to 10 Gbps. Service must terminate at the applicant-designated MDF demarcation point, and providers must include site delivery, construction, permitting, pathway, and right-of-way costs. Proposals must identify monthly recurring charges, non-recurring charges, and any special construction charges, as well as pricing for static IP addresses and router lease options. The applicant requests 36-month and 60-month pricing, with optional additional 12-month extensions, and requires proposals to address bandwidth increases, early termination if a location closes, additional-site provisions, and no price increases during the contract term. Services are needed effective July 1, 2027, subject to funding and contract execution.
