Description
The Province of British Columbia, through BC Timber Sales Skeena Business Area, is offering Timber Sale Licence TA2985 for the No Gold cutting area. The licence covers an estimated 25,522 cubic metres of coniferous timber across approximately 54.2 hectares, consisting primarily of balsam, hemlock, and spruce. The licence term is 24 months, with an upset stumpage rate of CAD $0.25 per cubic metre and a bonus bid applying to the competitive portion of the timber volume. Only individuals or corporations registered as BC Timber Sales enterprises in Categories 1, 4, or 5 may apply. Applicants must submit a bonus bid and completed Application and Tender for Timber Sale Licence form, comply with applicable forestry, environmental, safety, and registration requirements, and may be required to provide a bid deposit. Applications may be submitted electronically through BC Bid or by hard copy. The successful applicant will be required to operate under the applicable BC Timber Sales environmental and safety management requirements and may need to obtain road or road-use permits.
