Description
Wilcox County Schools is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified, properly licensed contractors for a turnkey 20-by-30-foot concession and restroom facility at its tennis courts. The facility will include a concession area with an approximately eight-foot roll-up service door, serving counter, sink, hot water heater, storage/electrical room, separate men's and women's restrooms, ADA-accessible fixtures, commercial metal doors, a gable-style metal roof, decorative masonry, durable flooring, painting, lighting, ventilation, and all related finishes and hardware. The scope includes complete foundation and slab work, site preparation, grading, excavation, utility connections, plumbing, electrical service, wiring, fixtures, permits, inspections, testing, cleanup, and restoration. The contractor must furnish and install a complete lift station with pumps, basin/tank, controls, alarm, electrical service, piping, excavation, testing, startup, and connection to the existing stubbed sanitary sewer. Proposals must include a lump-sum turnkey base bid, proposed completion schedule, exclusions or qualifications, applicable Georgia contractor license information, proof of required insurance, major subcontractors if known, at least three comparable project references, and warranty information. The work must comply with applicable Georgia codes, ADA requirements, and school campus safety and security requirements.
