Description
The Federal Aviation Administration intends to contract with General Dynamics Information Technology on a sole-source basis to maintain stable administrative voice services during major telecommunications and IT transitions. The services include telecommunications dial-tone connections, toll-free services, the FAVES core and Primary Rate Interface circuit connectivity, and the FTI Mission Support Wide Area Network. This is an informational notice, not a competitive solicitation; no competitive solicitation is available. The agency states that it cannot tolerate the added risk of transitioning the FAVES contractor platform while other agency telephony and network infrastructure is also undergoing transition.
