Description
British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority is issuing RFP 24703 to establish multiple contracts with qualified suppliers for as-required vegetation management and forestry consulting services throughout British Columbia. The three service categories are Distribution Vegetation Consulting Services, Transmission Vegetation Consulting Services, and Capital Forestry Consulting Services. The scope may include vegetation assessments and work layout, hazard and danger tree assessments, vegetation consenting and notification, outage investigations, transmission right-of-way assessments, access planning and maintenance support, permitting and licensing, customer and stakeholder engagement, timber cruising and valuation, environmental and biological services, GIS and mapping, project planning, supervision, data management, and related forestry and vegetation consulting. Proponents must demonstrate SafeContractor safety qualifications and access to the minimum key personnel qualifications for each proposed service category. BC Hydro anticipates awarding multiple contracts for an initial five-year term, with possible extensions of up to five additional years.
