Description
The Ministry of Forests is seeking qualified proponents to develop prescriptions for operational wildfire fuel-reduction treatments under the Crown Land Wildfire Risk Reduction Program in the Prince George Forest District. The work is expected to cover approximately 280 hectares across three terms, with potential additional hectares subject to funding, approval, and acceptable performance. Services will be delivered in two phases: reconnaissance, including mapping and surveys to identify and describe fuel-treatment units; and fuel-management prescription development, including field layout and professional assessments. Term 1 focuses on Domano, south of Prince George, while Terms 2 and 3 focus on Haldi, Miworth, and Upper Pidherny. Term 1 services must be completed by March 31, 2027, and the estimated contract period is eight months.
