Description
Mecklenburg County Public Library is requesting proposals for Internet access bundled with transport service for four library locations. Proposed services must provide at least each site's current download speed and fall within the requested 200–500 Mbps range; symmetrical bandwidth is not required. The proposal must include pricing for at least one static IP address and router/modem lease options. Services must terminate at each building's designated MDF/demarcation point, with the provider responsible for site delivery, construction, permitting, pathways, and rights-of-way required to deliver service. Proposals must separately identify monthly recurring, non-recurring, and any special construction charges, including applicable ineligible costs. The library requests contracted-service pricing for 36- or 60-month terms, with voluntary two-year extensions, and requires compliance with applicable E-Rate and covered-equipment restrictions.
