Description
Canton City School District seeks symmetrical Internet access and data transmission services beginning July 1, 2027, with bandwidth of approximately 3 Gbps scalable to 10 Gbps and guaranteed throughput to its head-end at the Administrative Center, McKinley Downtown, and Tech Annex. The proposal must include approximately five public IPv4 addresses, laddered pricing in approximately 1 Gbps increments, any provider-owned onsite equipment needed for the handoff, a description of the network pathway, and separate recurring, nonrecurring, installation, and special-construction costs. Fiber handoffs are requested. Respondents must provide a proposed service-level agreement covering availability, packet loss, latency, jitter, 24x7x365 trouble reporting, outage repair commitments, chronic-trouble remedies, and service reporting. The response must also include data-security and privacy practices, three similar-service references, the provider's E-Rate SPIN number, and a ready-to-execute or sample contract. Optional separately priced offerings may include advanced firewall, DDoS protection, IPv6 addresses, and CIPA-compliant filtering. The contract is contingent on E-Rate funding and is structured as a three-year term with up to two optional one-year extensions.
