Description
Canton City School District is seeking a fully managed, leased lit standalone data transmission service connecting Lincoln Elementary to the district’s network head-end at the Administrative Center and related facilities. The requested service must support pricing options for 1, 2, and 5 Gbps connections, bandwidth changes during the contract term, active powered network devices at both ends, and fiber handoffs where available. The request is technology-neutral and may consider fiber, hybrid, cable, DSL, copper, satellite, or microwave solutions. Proposals must describe the network topology, transmission medium, handoffs, onsite equipment, installation or special-construction costs, and a proposed SLA. The SLA must address availability, packet loss, latency, jitter, contention, oversubscription, 24x7x365 support, repair commitments, chronic trouble remedies, and service reporting. The one-year contract is contingent on E-Rate funding and is scheduled for July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2028. Responses must include detailed pricing by site and service tier, three similar-service references, the provider’s E-Rate SPIN number, and a ready-to-execute or sample contract.
