Description
The Alabama Port Authority seeks multiple contractors to provide on-retainer painting and blasting services, including pressure washing, surface preparation, abrasive blasting, priming, and application of intermediate and finish protective coatings to terminal equipment and other assets. Contractors must supply the labor, materials, tools, equipment, consumables, and coating systems needed for assigned projects, and be able to mobilize within 48 hours of a service request. Work will be ordered through individual work orders and quoted on a time-and-materials, not-to-exceed basis. Offerors must hold SSPC QP-1 certification, provide a certified NACE inspector for each project, and submit specified licenses, certificates, insurance evidence, and at least three relevant references. Proposals are evaluated on mobilization capability and proximity, past performance, warranty, and price. The initial agreement is 12 months, with up to four additional 12-month periods by mutual agreement.
