Description
Merced Community College District is soliciting bids for the Merced College Isakow Plaza ADA POT Sidewalk Updates project. The work is subject to California prevailing-wage requirements and requires bidders to hold an applicable California contractor’s license in classification A, B, or C-8. Bidders must also be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations, and listed subcontractors must meet the applicable DIR registration requirements. The project budget is $100,000. Each bid must include bid security equal to 10% of the maximum bid, including additive alternates. The successful bidder must provide 100% performance and labor-and-material payment bonds from a California-admitted surety before work begins, along with required insurance and other post-award documents. The contract requires completion within four months after issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
