Description
Amargosa Valley Community Library is seeking proposals for mobile broadband for its bookmobile and internet access services for the library. Bidders may propose one or both services. The bookmobile solution must provide coverage throughout the Amargosa Valley area in Nye County, Nevada, support up to 10 simultaneous users with approximately 40 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload or faster, and provide a service radius of at least 100 feet around the vehicle. The service must support data, video, web conferencing, vehicle GPS, and vehicle security applications. Proposals should include coverage documentation, monthly recurring charges, non-recurring charges, service-provider terms and conditions, SPIN, and coverage for the Amargosa Valley area. The library prefers embedded CIPA-compliant filtering and requires 24x7x365 support, a dashboard for device-location tracking and remote troubleshooting, SPI discount billing, bandwidth increases during the contract term, early termination without penalty, and no price increases during the term. Pricing options are requested for a 36-month term and a 12-month term with two optional one-year renewals. Services are needed effective July 1, 2027.
