Description
Birmingham Green is seeking one or more pharmacy service providers to furnish pharmacy products and comprehensive pharmacy services for its nursing, assisted-living, adult-care, and independent-living communities. The scope includes routine and STAT medication delivery, contingency medication boxes, nursing-cart stocking, narcotics procedures, packaging and dispensing, emergency medication storage, medication-cart checks, consultant pharmacy services, clinical programs, quality assurance, compliance support, customer service, problem resolution, and staff, patient, and resident education. Offerors must provide detailed pricing and reimbursement schedules for Medicaid, managed Medicaid, dual-eligible, Medicare Part A, and Medicare managed-care patients, including dispensing fees, ingredient costs, carve-outs, formulary requirements, discounts, assistance programs, billing support, refunds, and credits. Responses must also address information systems, electronic refills, physician-prescribing portals, billing and census interfaces, and bidirectional electronic-medical-record integration with PointClickCare. The proposal must include the completed RFP, one USB drive, one original, three copies, and a completed data sheet for each pharmacy being proposed; however, the solicitation also states that proposals and all attachments must be submitted electronically through eVA.
