Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting quotations for 10 spur gears, NSN 3020-01-527-8491, manufactured in accordance with the specified technical data, drawings, quality requirements, packaging requirements, and protective-finish provisions. The procurement includes a contractor first article test requirement: two units must be tested, with a first article test report submitted within 45 calendar days of contract date. One gear must be provided without protective finish and one with protective finish for inspection, and destructive case-depth and core-hardness testing is required as specified. The solicitation also includes origin inspection, an applicable quality-management system requirement, export-controlled technical-data access restrictions, CMMC Level 2 requirements, domestic-material restrictions, military packaging and marking requirements, and delivery under the First Destination Transportation program. A separate first-article test line item is included, and the solicitation states that all quotations must be submitted through the DLA Internet Bid Board System.
