Description
The Jackson County Intermediate School District is soliciting maintenance and operations services for a district-owned fiber-optic network of approximately 180 miles serving school districts across Jackson and Hillsdale counties. The network is not fully documented at the splice level. Bidders must provide a complete maintenance and operations plan and pricing for three- and five-year terms with extension options. The scope includes annual inspections, scheduled maintenance and planned-outage procedures, vegetation and pest control, and inspection and repair of markers and handholes. Proposals must also address outage response and fiber-break restoration, including severity-based response and repair times, post-repair testing, replacement of damaged fiber, and repair or replacement of hangers. Bidders must describe utility coordination, responses to Miss Dig and NJUNS tickets, and standard and optional service-level agreements. The bidder must include its SPIN.
