The Louisiana Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority is soliciting proposals for its FY2027 Parish Matching Program, which will provide up to $5,000,000 in GOMESA funding to match priority projects proposed by eligible coastal-zone parishes. Two parishes may partner, provided one is identified as the lead, and other non-parish partners may participate. Proposals must include a match and may address construction projects; final engineering and design may be considered only when construction is also included. Eligible project types include resilience and non-structural measures such as stormwater management and green infrastructure, vegetative plantings, invasive-species control or removal, oyster reef or cultch placement, living shorelines and shoreline protection, hydrologic restoration, marsh creation and terracing, and barrier-island or headland sand fencing. Proposals are limited to 10 pages and must identify participating organizations and the lead parish, provide a point of contact, describe the project purpose and features, include project-area maps, address the stated selection considerations, state the requested match, provide a budget summary, and include an estimated timeline.
