Description
This is a Notice of Exemption for a proposed cut-and-cover culvert replacement project funded by the State of California. The work will replace damaged and corroded culverts and, as needed, their headwalls, flared end sections, and rock slope protection along an existing public highway. The project is categorically exempt under California Environmental Quality Act Section 15301, Class 1(C), because it consists of repair and maintenance of an existing highway without an expansion of use.
