Description
Clemson University is seeking a contractor to perform minor asphalt patching and pothole repairs on roadways, parking lots, and other paved surfaces. Repairs will be for areas not exceeding 10'x20' and will involve preparing the patch area by cleaning and removing loose or damaged material, cutting edges to form vertical, straight sides, and applying a tack coat. New asphalt will be installed in layers not exceeding 5 inches compacted thickness and compacted thoroughly. Pavement markings will also be applied as needed. Work will be performed on a per project basis, with each project not expected to exceed $10,000. The bidding schedule is for evaluation purposes only, and Clemson University does not guarantee current or future work. All submissions must be made online through the Clemson University bidding system.
