Description
The Province of British Columbia, through the BC Timber Sales Strait of Georgia Business Area, is offering Timber Sale Licence TA0320 for the harvesting of approximately 21,148 cubic metres of coniferous timber across an estimated 27.6 hectares at Cranberry Lake. The estimated species mix includes Douglas-fir, hemlock, cedar, and lodgepole pine. The licence term is 30 months, with an upset stumpage rate of $52.74 per cubic metre and a bonus bid applicable to the competitive timber volume. Eligible applicants must be registered BC timber sales enterprises in Categories 1, 4, or 5. The successful applicant must comply with the BC Timber Sales environmental management system, Sustainable Forestry Initiative requirements, applicable safety-certification requirements, and any road-permit or road-use-permit obligations. The application must include the completed Application and Tender for Timber Sale Licence form and a bonus bid; a bid deposit may be required.
