Description
Transport Canada requires a supplier to perform its 2026–27 Internal Control over Financial Management ongoing monitoring assessment of Information Technology General Controls. The work will examine the departmental financial management system and supporting information technology systems, including consideration of best practices. The assessment must evaluate whether IT general and application controls are adequate and operating as intended on an ongoing basis to protect data confidentiality, integrity, and availability; support timely electronic transaction transfers and processing; and ensure complete and reliable financial information for decision-making and corporate reporting. The opportunity is limited to Professional Audit Support Services supply arrangement holders qualified for the National Capital Region and Stream 3: Information Technology and Systems audits, at the specified expertise levels. One contract is intended, with a proposed period from contract award through March 31, 2027.
