Description
The contractor will operate food services for the Marine Security Guard Residence, preparing and serving meals on weekdays, developing menus, accommodating dietary needs, and coordinating meal plans with the Mess NCO. The work also includes kitchen and dishware cleaning, food safety and sanitation, inventory and food-storage management, quality control, reporting, and related food-service oversight. Food is purchased separately by the Mess NCO; the contractor may accompany the Mess NCO on local purchasing trips when requested. The contractor must provide qualified cooking personnel, including a cook with at least three years of food-service management experience, and furnish required labor and management. The solicitation requests a work plan, staffing and experience information, equipment and resource details, quality and risk-management plans, and licensing information. The contract has a 12-month base period and two 12-month option periods.
