Description
Loudoun County Sanitation Authority, doing business as Loudoun Water, invites qualified contractors to submit bids for BRWRF Phase III – Package II. The project is a major wastewater treatment facility construction effort involving civil, mechanical, structural, architectural, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, electrical, and related work. The bid package includes eight specification volumes, six drawing volumes, owner-preselected membrane bioreactor system equipment, and a rotary drum drying system. Bidders must provide a 5% bid bond or certified check, a Virginia contractor’s license, a Bid Form, a Bidder Qualification Statement Form, and project references. The reference requirement calls for at least three similar completed or in-progress projects performed within the past 10 years, including one project with a minimum construction value of $400 million and two with minimum values of $200 million; all three projects must include earthwork and heavy mechanical water or wastewater work, including yard piping. Bids must be submitted through IonWave by the deadline, and bidders must attend at least one mandatory pre-bid conference and the immediately following in-person site visit.
