Description
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation is soliciting bids for a master agreement covering preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, parts replacement, pickup and delivery, and emergency response services for fire apparatus Types 1, 3, and 6; fire ambulances; chief officer vehicles; and support vehicles at participating correctional facilities statewide. Bidders may bid on one or more regions or locations, and there are no guarantees that services will be requested. Services include annual or mileage-based preventive maintenance, California Highway Patrol inspections, certified brake and fire-pump inspections, emergency repairs, towing and related transportation, hazardous-material and waste removal, service documentation, and 24-hour emergency response with an on-site response requirement within four hours of notification. Each technician must hold Emergency Vehicle Technician Level I certification from the California Office of the State Fire Marshal. The bidder must complete the rate sheet for all locations and service items within each selected location or region, and submit the required certifications, declarations, payee forms, and supporting business and licensing documentation.
