The North Carolina Division of Mitigation Services (NCDMS) is soliciting proposals for full delivery projects to provide warm stream and riparian wetland mitigation credits within Cataloguing Unit 03050101 of the Catawba River Basin. The requested credits are 5,000 warm stream credits and 6 riparian wetland credits, with preservation credits not exceeding 50% of total credits. Projects must include a combination of stream and wetland credits. The contract will have an initial term of ten years, with up to two additional one-year renewal options. Tasks include environmental screening, property acquisition and conservation easement recording, mitigation plan development, permitting, construction, planting, monitoring for at least seven years, and closeout. Financial assurance in the form of a performance bond, letter of credit, or casualty insurance is required for 55% of the total contract value.
