Kadoka Area School District 35-2 is seeking a contractor to replace approximately 9,240 square feet of roofing at an interior school and gymnasium. Work includes removing the existing EPDM membrane, wall flashings, metal trims, and insulation; inspecting the roof deck; installing a self-adhered vapor barrier, replacement polyisocyanurate insulation, tapered EPS insulation, coverboard, a fully adhered 60-mil EPDM membrane, prefabricated pipe-penetration boot flashings, and new 24-gauge copings and trims. The project includes separate requirements for Tectum deck and wood deck areas. An additive alternate covers remediation of the existing roof and any damage, final roof-covering trussing, and tin work. Site visits are mandatory for prospective bidders, and bids must identify whether they are for the roof replacement or additive alternate.
