Description
WorkSafeBC is issuing an Orthotic Services Agreement for treatment related to custom orthoses, customization to off-the-shelf orthoses, custom orthopaedic footwear, and off-the-shelf orthopaedic footwear. The services include assessment, fabrication, integration, and education to help injured workers achieve the physical and functional levels necessary for their return to work and daily living activities. Vendors operating clinics in British Columbia with an orthotist, podiatrist, pedorthist, or custom shoemaker who wish to provide orthotic services to injured workers after July 1, 2024, must complete and submit the applicable Vendor Application Form. Instructions for submission are available on the WorkSafeBC website. Note that off-the-shelf orthoses are not included under this agreement, and an Orthotic Services Agreement is not required for their provision.
