Description
The Department of National Defence, through the Strategic Medical Countermeasures Program on behalf of the Canadian Forces Health Services Group, is soliciting offers for pralidoxime chloride or pralidoxime methyl sulfate. The product must contain 200 mg per primary container, be sterile, and be supplied as a solution for injection or powder for solution for injection administered intravenously or intramuscularly. Packaging must identify the product, strength, lot or batch number, and expiry date or manufacturing date. The product must have at least 36 months of shelf life from manufacture and at least 30 months remaining at delivery. The initial requirement is for 450 treatment courses, with firm deliveries of 150 treatment courses in each of the following two years and optional deliveries of up to 150 treatment courses in each of the subsequent two years. The initial delivery is due by March 31, 2027, with later deliveries due by March 1 of 2028 through 2031. Shipments must use temperature-controlled, monitored transport, and bidders must provide technical evidence including a representative certificate of analysis signed by the manufacturer's quality assurance department, current product labeling or package insert, product photographs, and a stability report showing at least 36 months of stability data. The product must meet applicable Health Canada authorization requirements. Selection will be based on the lowest evaluated price among offers meeting the mandatory technical criteria.
