Description
The Pan American Health Organization seeks a consultant to provide specialized biostatistical and health-information analysis services supporting a baseline assessment and monitoring tool for the Family and Community Health Strategy of Guatemala's Social Security Institute. The work includes reviewing institutional data sources, creating a source inventory and variable dictionary, assessing data quality and coverage, cleaning and processing databases through reproducible procedures, producing descriptive analyses and indicators, documenting information gaps, and developing a functional monitoring and visualization tool. The engagement requires two deliverables: a data-quality and analytical-baseline report, including a cleaned analytical database, initial indicators, statistical annexes, and processing scripts, due November 10, 2026; and a technical monitoring and knowledge-transfer package, including an adjusted final report, indicator matrix and technical sheets, a functional dashboard or monitoring tool, update procedures, editable files, a user guide, and a transfer-session record, due December 4, 2026. The consultant must have quantitative university training, postgraduate training in a relevant statistical or health-economics field, demonstrated health-database analysis experience, and proficiency with statistical and visualization tools such as R, Stata, Excel, or Tableau.
