The Department of the Army is seeking innovative commercial solutions to accelerate the integration of advanced manufacturing technologies, enable secure and connected digital environments, and promote sustainable practices within the Army's industrial base. The goal is to create a more agile, resilient, and technologically advanced industrial base that meets current and future operational demands while ensuring compliance with DoD standards for cybersecurity, sustainability, and readiness. This Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) supports the scaling of advanced manufacturing technologies, integration of secure digital tools for real-time monitoring and optimization, and enhancement of workforce capabilities. Key focus areas include technology integration (additive manufacturing, robotics, AI), digital transformation (IoT, digital twins), workforce development, supply chain resilience, and sustainability. Solutions will be evaluated based on technical merit, projected availability, and funding availability, with potential awards as FAR-based contracts or Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs).
