Description
The United Nations Development Programme in Viet Nam is seeking an international consultant to support the Korea–Viet Nam Peace Village Project and the Clearing the Past, Greening the Future in the Mekong Region project. The consultant will provide technical and advisory support covering survey and clearance data verification and analysis, information management, IMSMA support, GIS-based integrated risk mapping, environmental data integration, capacity assessments, knowledge exchange, coordination meetings, and cross-border cooperation. The assignment requires preparation of technical reviews, concept notes, reports, briefs, meeting materials, progress reports, and annual-report inputs. The consultant will work primarily from the Hanoi duty station, with possible travel to field locations in Viet Nam and overseas. The solicitation requires a master's degree or higher in a relevant field, at least two years of relevant UXO or mine action experience, English writing samples, and evidence of Korean-language proficiency. The engagement is for 240 working days over 12 months, with payment in 12 installments tied to deliverables.
