This Advance Procurement Notice is not a bid solicitation or request for proposals. Defence Construction Canada anticipates a future competitive contract, subject to approval by the Department of National Defence, for extensive renovations to accommodation Buildings A-147 and A-149 at Canadian Forces Base Borden. The anticipated work includes life-safety improvements, building-envelope upgrades, electrical and mechanical upgrades, and roofing replacements. The notice identifies an approximate estimate of $22 million and an anticipated posting in November 2026. The future contract is expected to include security requirements, with Designated Organization Screening identified as the anticipated clearance level. Contractors without the required clearance are encouraged to begin the Industrial Security Program sponsorship process before the future solicitation is advertised. The project may also include an Indigenous-business participation component under the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business.
