Description
Net Zero Atlantic and the NunatuKavut Community Council seek a qualified consultant or team to conduct a feasibility study for small-scale commercial greenhouse development in NunatuKavut’s diesel-dependent communities. The work includes market-demand and workforce assessments; definition of appropriate greenhouse sizes and production scales; capital, operating, and revenue estimates; financial modeling of seasonal and year-round scenarios; risk analysis and mitigation strategies; and evaluation of geothermal, solar, wind, battery, and local-microgrid energy options. Deliverables include preliminary market and workforce findings, a CapEx/OpEx and revenue report with an input-data database, a user-friendly financial modeling tool and presentations, a greenhouse-scenario risk analysis, and draft and final comprehensive reports with community-specific case studies, decision-support tools, and recommended next steps. The proponent must provide a concise proposal, work plan, qualifications and references, resource confirmation, and a detailed fixed-fee budget. The proposal is limited to 15 pages excluding appendices, title pages, and the cover letter, and must be submitted as one signed PDF through the designated FTP site.
