The U.S. Embassy Ankara requires a qualified contractor to renovate the existing kitchen and associated hall areas at the Deputy Chief of Mission Residence. The scope includes design and field verification; demolition and disposal; custom-fabricated cabinetry with an integrated concealed ladder module; a sintered-stone countertop; stainless-steel sink, professional-grade faucet, and waste-disposal system; plumbing; electrical outlets, switches, circuits, and lighting; radiator relocation and replacement; floor tile and backsplash or wall-finish replacement; painting; protection of adjacent areas; testing; final adjustments; cleaning; and all related labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and incidentals. The contractor must submit a preliminary design proposal with the offer identifying the proposed layout, materials, finishes, lighting approach, radiator location, products, manufacturers, technical specifications, and applicable supporting literature, certificates, test reports, warranty information, proposed work schedule, and employee list. After award, the contractor must provide field-verified shop drawings, coordinated technical submittals, samples, a detailed work sequence, and final schedule before procurement, fabrication, demolition, or installation. Work must be completed within 45 business days after contract approval, and the contractor must provide a minimum two-year written warranty for installation and workmanship defects.
