Description
The Georgia Department of Economic Development is seeking a qualified Canada-based firm or consultant to represent Georgia's economic development interests in Canada, with an emphasis on foreign direct investment and business recruitment. The contractor must maintain relationships with Canadian companies that have Georgia operations, contact at least 50 Canadian prospects annually, meet with at least 12 prospects, develop 20 qualified leads and 10 active projects annually, and support site visits and investment opportunities. The contractor must also maintain relationships with site-selection companies and other in-country business contacts, coordinate missions and events when requested, provide monthly activity reports, use the department's designated database or Salesforce, and attend an annual meeting in Georgia. Offerors must be based in Canada and demonstrate at least three years of applicable experience, significant ties to the Canadian business community, relevant FDI deliverables, event-coordination experience, qualified references, and experience with Salesforce or comparable CRM systems. The contract has an initial one-year term with four one-year renewal options, and the possible contract amount is $75,000. Responses are evaluated on technical qualifications, interviews or site visits, and cost, with negotiations possible.
