Description
The United Nations Development Programme seeks a service provider to strengthen asset management systems in 21 local governments. Work includes validating existing systems and assessing needs; preparing local support plans; providing tailored technical assistance to improve legal, organizational, financial, and operational practices; and developing practical tools, procedures, and asset registers. The assignment emphasizes capacity transfer so local government staff can manage and improve systems independently. The provider will also deliver a structured capacity-development and knowledge-sharing program, including at least six two-day in-person training sessions, six primarily online practical learning sessions, three peer-learning visits, and two best-practice exchange events. Eight deliverables span inception, assessments and support plans, training materials and activities, progress reporting, practical improvement packages, and a final results report. The expected assignment duration is 36 months, with travel and engagement across participating local governments.
