Description
The State of Alabama is soliciting a contractor to rebuild one Patterson pump onsite at the Archives & History building. The work includes loosening and sliding back the motor, removing and disassembling the pump, inspecting and cleaning parts, installing new bearings, seal, sleeve, and gasket, reassembling and reinstalling the pump, returning the motor to position, and performing laser alignment. The supplier must include drive time in its total fixed price. The contractor must be properly licensed, demonstrate experience with large-scale commercial or government projects, comply with OSHA and facility safety requirements, and perform the work without subcontractors. Work must be completed within 45 consecutive days and scheduled with the HVAC shop manager during Monday-through-Thursday business hours, from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Applicable general contractor and subcontractor insurance requirements are referenced in the solicitation package.
