Alberta Forestry and Parks is seeking quotes for the supply and delivery of snowmaking chemicals on an as-required basis. Pricing must cover enough chemical to treat 1,000,000 gallons of water, including delivery, for evaluation purposes; estimated seasonal usage has historically ranged from approximately 10 million to 13 million gallons of treated water, but quantities are not guaranteed. The product must be compatible with existing Hidden Valley Ski Hill snowmaking infrastructure, including snow lances, Ratnik ground guns, SMI Puma fan guns, and TechnoAlpin T40 fan guns, without modifications. Respondents must provide application rates and dosing instructions, product specifications and manufacturer literature demonstrating compatibility, and a short-form Material Safety Data Sheet. The estimated contract period is five months, with a proposed start date of October 26, 2026, and service continuing through March 31, 2027.
