Description
The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation is conducting market research for the new manufacture and supply of 41 compensator assemblies, part number 1713680, NSN 1660-01-507-5069. Potential sources must be capable of furnishing all required labor, materials, facilities, and equipment, including procurement or manufacture of component parts, inspection, testing, preservation and packaging, and shipping. The anticipated requirement may also involve supply-chain management, logistics planning, production forecasting, procurement of long-lead-time parts, mitigation of diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages, and shipment of serviceable assets. Respondents must provide organizational information and a tailored capability statement addressing relevant technical, financial, human-capital, resource, and project-management capabilities. This is a Sources Sought notice, not a solicitation or request for proposals; responses are voluntary and may inform a future set-aside or full-and-open procurement.
