Description
Breakthrough Charter School is requesting proposals for Category One dedicated, symmetrical internet access delivered over fiber, with pricing for 1 Gbps, 2 Gbps, 3 Gbps, and 5 Gbps bandwidth options. Vendors must identify whether the service is dedicated or shared, the transport technology, service demarcation, provider-owned equipment, carrier dependencies, and any construction, installation, taxes, fees, surcharges, or other nonrecurring charges. Pricing must separately identify eligible and ineligible costs and include options with and without provider-supplied basic firewall functionality. Vendors are also asked to price 10 consecutive static IPv4 addresses and identify available IPv6 support. The proposal must include a complete service description, implementation schedule, service-level and support plan, provider terms and conditions, SPIN, references, and all required pricing. The service is expected to begin July 1, 2027. The initial contract term is three years, with up to two voluntary one-year extensions, for a maximum potential term of five years. The selected provider must maintain the FCC registrations and certifications required for participation in the E-Rate program.
