Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) is issuing a Request for Supply Arrangement (RFSA) to pre-qualify suppliers for professional services related to airborne topographic LiDAR data. The services include acquisition, classification, and inspection of classification of airborne LiDAR data, as well as acquisition of aerial orthophotos in support of LiDAR for one work category. Suppliers can qualify for four work categories: Category 1 includes acquisition and classification of LiDAR data and aerial orthophotos; Category 2 includes acquisition and classification of LiDAR data only; Category 3 includes classification of existing LiDAR data; and Category 4 includes inspection of classification of existing LiDAR data. Qualification for a higher category automatically qualifies for lower categories. The supply arrangement has no defined end date and will remain valid until Canada no longer finds it advantageous. Contracts under the arrangement are typically valued between $300,000 and $1,000,000. The requirement is subject to the Agreement on Internal Trade and is open to non-Canadian suppliers. The arrangement excludes locations subject to Comprehensive Land Claims Agreements in Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Quebec, and Labrador.
