The Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) is soliciting proposals for basic and applied research initiatives across various STEM fields, business, politics, public/foreign policy, and operational/information sciences. This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is intended for research that advances knowledge and has the potential for public benefit, rather than for specific system development or hardware procurement. Awards will be made in the form of grants or cooperative agreements. Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit a white paper prior to submitting a full proposal. White papers can be submitted at any time during the open period of the FOA, and full proposals must be submitted through Grants.gov. The estimated total program funding is $20,000,000, with an expected number of 30 awards. The solicitation is open until January 13, 2030.
