Description
The University of Calcutta seeks a contractor to make and install new curtains, rods, and brackets in the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (AA)'s chamber and office. The bill of quantities specifies 192 square feet, with payment based on the area of cloth used; bidders must inspect the site before quoting. The university will not supply materials. The work must be completed within 15 days of the work order. Bidders must provide a valid trade license, GST and PAN documentation, and credentials for satisfactory completion of similar work worth at least 75% of the job value in a single contract during the last three financial years. A 2% earnest-money deposit is required. Additional performance security may apply if the successful bid is 80% or less of the estimated amount.
